The "Chita
di Lakarmuto" folklore group was founded in December 1975.
It consists of young people - students and workers. They are united
by their love for their native Cicely and its cultural traditions.
The
purpose of the folklore group, which delves into the folk traditions,
is to preserve the dances, songs and proverbs of their predecessors. |

The "Vesselin
Maslesha" folklore ensemble was founded in 1948 and presents
original national costumes. Its repertoire includes over 65 different
choreographic performances from different ethnographic regions
in former Yugoslavia - Wallahian dances, dances form the old Banya
Luka,
dances from Monte Negro, dances from Banat, dances from the Shopp
region, Serbian folk songs. |

The
folklore ensemble "POBEDA" at The Youth Club in Veliko
Tarnovo is the first group founded in the town in 1960.
The ensemble interprets more than 20 dances from all ethnographic
areas of the country. Some of them are its cultivation - "Djinovsko", "Nashenci
horo igraiat", "Severniashki ritmi", "Shopski tanc" and
other dances. "POBEDA" is
winner of gold medals and honorable title "LAUREATE" II, III, IV,
V, VI and VII of the Republic festivals of amateur art activities. |

The
professional "Iskra" Folklore
Ensemble at the "Iskra" Cultural Community centre in Veliko Tarnovo
was founded in 1960 as an amateur ensemble with three sections
- folklore orchestra, choir and dance troupe. The actors, musicians,
singers and dancers of the ensemble became professional in 1989. |

The
children's-juvenile folklore ensemble "BULGARCHE" was
founded in the fall of 1968.
The Founder and main artistic leader is Mihail Diulgerov. The ensemble includes
400 children between 6 and 18 years old and preparatory groups of the representative
staff: people's choir, people's orchestra and dance group.
In the repertoire of the ensemble are included dances, songs and orchestral works
from all ethnographic areas in Bulgaria. |
