"BELAFOLK" - CHILDREN DANCE GROUP

Children dance group of the folk dances from the town of Biala with the art leader Ivan Yankov was founded in 1988. From that time on the group has been creating magnificent pictures on the folk dances and has its place in the amateur art activities of the town.
The dance group gave performances in Bad-Blankenburg, Bonn, Helmno, Kiev.
"Belavolk" children dance group is laureate of the VII-th Republican Festival in 1989 and a winner of the prize "Zlatna Gadulka" - '90 and '91 at the Regional Folk Festivals.
The constructive co-operation with the wine making enterprise "Belvin-Priva" '96 Ltd. contributes to the success of the group. With mutual efforts they preserve and develop the traditions and the creative spirit of the young people in town.

 

CHILDREN'S-JUVENILE FOLKLORE ENSEMBLE BULGARCHE

The children's-juvenile folklore ensemble "BULGARCHE" was founded in the fall of 1968.
The Founder and main artistic leader is Mihail Diulgerov. The ensemble includes 400 children between 6 and 18 years old and preparatory groups of the representative staff: people's choir, people's orchestra and dance group.
In the repertoire of the ensemble are included dances, songs and orchestral works from all ethnographic areas in Bulgaria.
The ensemble has performed 2000 concerts in Bulgaria and foreign countries, including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Greece, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Poland and many other countries.

FOLKLORE ENSEMBLE "DIMUM"

The folklore troupe "Dimum" was founded 25 years ago in the town of Belene. The troupe has taken part in festivals in Russia, Syria, Romania and Czechoslovakia.
In 1997 it was named "Dimum". Over 100 dancers take part in the ensemble's dances. These are boys and girls from 5 to 20 years old.
The ensemble has won many awards from folk festivals and folk competitions in Bulgaria. The folklore ensemble "Dimum" performs dances from the Northern part of Bulgaria and also from all parts of the country

THE "ISKRA" PROFESSIONAL FOLKLORE ENSEMBLE AT THE "ISKRA" CULTURAL COMMUNITY CENTRE - V. TARNOVO

The professional "Iskra" Folklore Ensemble at the "Iskra" Cultural Community centre in Veliko Tarnovo was founded in 1960 as an amateur ensemble with three sections - folklore orchestra, choir and dance troupe. The actors, musicians, singers and dancers of the ensemble became professional in 1989. The ensemble's performances in Bulgaria and abroad have won a great number of admirers. It has taken part in international folklore festivals and competitions in Poland, Hungary, Germany, Holland, Yugoslavia, Italy and Portugal.

MANOL RADICHEV FOLKLORE ENSEMBLE

From its very inception the ensemble has been performing original folk music and dances from the Rhodope Mountains. The Ensemble has taken part in all the stages of the seven Bulgarian Festivals, in the Varna Summer Review, in all five contests of folk art in the town of Koprivshtitsa, in the folk festival in Rozhen, etc. The Folklore Ensemble from the village of Gela has traced, studied and presented 15 folk chain dances from the Rhodopes, as well as many folk songs and customs.

FOLKLORE ENSAMBLE "POBEDA", VELIKO TARNOVO

The folklore ensemble "POBEDA" at The Youth Club in Veliko Tarnovo is the first group founded in the town in 1960.
The ensemble interprets more than 20 dances from all ethnographic areas of the country. Some of them are its cultivation - "Djinovsko", "Nashenci horo igraiat", "Severniashki ritmi", "Shopski tanc" and other dances.
For 38 years, the creative path was filled with a lot of difficulties and trials, the ensemble showed abundant creative abilities in Bulgarian and international festivals and competitions. The mastery of the performance of the Bulgarian songs and dances found recognition in many international awards won in Italy, Poland, Cyprus, France, Romania, Yugoslavia, Hungary and other countries. "POBEDA" is winner of gold medals and honorable title "LAUREATE" II, III, IV, V, VI and VII of the Republic festivals of amateur art activities.

FOLKLORE ENSEMBLE 'SIDER VOIVODA', GORNA ORIAHOVITSA

The Folklore Ensemble "Sider Voivoda" was founded in 1953 in the town of Gorna Oriachovitza. It consists of an orchestra of folk instruments, a choir and a dance group. During its 40 years existence the Ensemble "Sider Voivoda" has performed over 2200 concerts of more than 2 100 000 spectators. The Ensemble has won gold medals at 15 National Folk Festivals and was awarded at 4 International Folk Festivals in Italy, Tunisia, Poland and Spain. It has visited over 20 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa; among them are Portugal, France, Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, Holland, Russia and Turkey. The Ensemble has many records on the Bulgarian radio and television; it has an LP album recorded. The repertoire of the Ensemble is based on original and arranged folklore works from the Mizia region. The repertoire covers also folk works from the other Bulgarian ethnographic areas: Trakia, Shopsko, Dobroudja, Pirinsko, Rodopsko. In includes both little chamber plays and big mass staging.

CHILDREN'S DANCE GROUP "TARNOVCHE" AT COMMUNITY CENTER, VELIKO TARNOVO

The children's dance group "TARNOVCHE" was founded in June 1986.
The little children from Veliko Tarnovo make the overabundant audience very happy with their emotional and temperamental dances from the Bulgarian folklore treasury.

FOLKLORE ENSEMBLE ZAGORE - Stara Zagora

Over 4,000 concerts attended by millions, tours in Greece, Turkey, Russia, France, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Italy and Spain. The ensemble has been awarded the Order of Cyril and Methodius - First Degree, the Golden Lyre prize, awards from Bulgarian and international competitions, all of them owing to the work of many performers who have made their modest contribution to the treasure house of folklore

Folk Ensemble "Gergiovden", Radnevo

Founded in 1986 as a Dance group to the Municipality center for culture and existed in this way until 1998 , Folk Ensemble "Gergiovden" has made glad and keep on making glad until nowadays with its numerous performances in the country and abroad people, who appreciate the unique Bulgarian dance and music art.
The ensemble has performed in:
Serbia, Taiwan, Macedonia and Turkey, from where it came back with a lot of prestigious awards.
The multicolor repertoire of the ensemble includes songs and dances almost from all ethnographic districts of Bulgaria.
