EILAT NITZANIM DANCE GROUP

The group consists of 22 dancers 13 to15 years of age.
This is their third year of working together and they have already reached an impressive and beautiful level of accomplishment through their performances.
Their repertory also includes very colourful folklore dances.
During the last two years, this dance group has participated and represented the city of Eilat in the annual Israeli Dance Festival of Karmiel. In addition, they perform for their community and other local events.

	The Dance Company was formed in November 1982 by late Mrs. Ofira Navon, the municipality of Eilat and with the assistance of the choreographer Yonatan Carmon. The company was comprised of amateur dancers from Eilat and the Arava Kibbutz settlements. Since the company's formation, the choreographer Amos Kav has accompanied its development and the founding of new young dance groups.
