International Folklore Festival - Veliko Tarnovo

"Nawojowiacy" has been the laureate of large number of competition and festivals, such as:
1. The International Folk Festival of the Mountains, Regions in Zakopane. (the brast "ciupaga"),
2. The Polish Artistic Folk Festival in Kielce (1st place),
3. The Polish High Lenders Festival (the silver "zywieckie serce"),
4. The Polish regional Folk Groups Festival named in the honor of Michal Kosinski on Stalowa Wola (appreciation of the 1st degree).
The group took part in the concerts recorded by the Polish radio and television. Since 1999 the folk group "Nawojowiacy" is a member of Polish section CIOFF. It was also performing in several times in Slovakia and Austria.
The artist director and choreograph is Zofia Skwarlo the music director Adamczyk and the organization manager Jan Kulpa.

	The folk group „Nawojowiacy" presents the regional folklore of Sadeckie Lachy, which is one of the most attractive ethnographic groups of the southern Poland, situated in the most remote part of the Karpaty Mountains. The melodic of the folk songs, the rhythm of the dances, the spectacular and unique customs, dialect and the colourful traditional customs attract the common attention. The group has been performing since 1993 and it is attached to the Local Centre of Culture Sport Recreation in Nawojowa. Both, young and old members dance there and that what differs them from other groups are their gorgeous costumes, dances, folk songs and their behave on the stage.
